What is the maximum sample rate for 16 channels with this board? Is it two-way, so could I also send timing signals for synchronizing ERP experiment´s stimuli? Jussi J PhD student in musicology and neuroscience, Uni Helsinki

Is it possible to order them from OpenBCI shop? Jussi
-
No, no, no. I meant octabolts.

Is it possible to change default electrode locations in OpenBCI_GUI software? I would like to use center line electrodes, like Fz, Cz and Pz. Of course I can collect data normally anyway, but in head plot the distribution is wrong, if I change locat…

What is the purpose of the last coordinate point (R in head plot)? Is it some kind of reference or what? J
-
Ok. I found this: electrode_positions_default.txt. It looks like this: X,Y -0.125,-0.416 0.125,-0.416 -0.2,0.0 0.2,0.0 -0.3425,0.27 0.3425,0.27 -0.125,0.416 0.125,0.416 -0.3425,-0.27 0.3425,-0.27 -0.18,-0.15 0.18,-0.15 -0.416,0.0 …

No, I did not mean invoice but label outside of parcel. Is it really marked 490 USD? We have 24 % VAT in Finland and....... you can guess the rest....... JJ

Hi! That´s great! :-) :-) :-) Does it mean there will be also clips for ears and grounding? JJ
-
Yes, I understand your point. However I already have your 16 channel 32bit system and very much like to use it with all 16 electrodes in Mark IV That's why I ask this question. :-)
-
I meant Mark IV . There were two different models in webshop, 8 and 16 channels (or electrodes). JJ
-
Yes, but you promised monthly updates....... :-) Jussi

Triggers should be tied to the different stimuli presented by presentation software like OpenEXP or Presentation. Otherwise there is no sense to use any triggers at all. What can we do? Can we start recording to SDcard with Python script directly…

I try to install OpenBCI Python files and LSL. Where should I install them or is copying to some specific folder enough? If I try to run user.py or Open_bci_v3.py they stop immediately for error messages "No module named serial" and No module named…
-
LSL sounds good! Could it be possible to port for OpenBCI and some open source presentation software too? Then OpenBCI would be a serious alternative for commercial ERP systems.
-
And how can I change it?
-
How about 10kHz or even more? In brainstem research I need at least 10kHz. In this case data must be written directly to the SD or?
-
Tutorial is fine, if you need just one trigger. In most cases in ERP studies you need at least two different markers (oddball paradigm) or even more. I´m just making ERP research, where I need four markers at the same time. How can I fix it? Should…

Ok, Thanks William. I have to concentrate on it just after Christmas. Merry Christmas to You, :-) Jussi

And for ERP studies there should be a way, how to mark onsets of different kind of stimuli in acquired data.
-
In our student lab for EEG and ERP studies software is Presentation and Neuroscan 4. They run in different computers and are connected via serial port. I´m looking for similar kind of combination with OpenBCI and open source presentation software.…

How about this? http://osdoc.cogsci.nl Does it work with OpenBCI hardware?
-
We also need a software like Presentation (https://www.neurobs.com) for stimuli. Especially, if we have more than two different kind of stimuli. Is there any free choice available, which works with OpeBCI hardware? JJ
