Regarding the placing of EEG cap

Hi,

I am using OpenBCI 'Ultracortex "Mark IV" EEG Headset' 8 electrode set. I have some doubts about the placing of the cap on the scalp. I did some experiments using this for my research purpose. But sometimes the value I am getting is not reliable.  My intuition is I am placing the cap in wrong places. Kindly share some tutorial or images on how to place the cap very accurately on the scalp to its respective electrode positions. Help me in it

Abhi, hi.

There are a number of web resources and videos showing how the 10-20 sites are measured, based on skull landmarks (nasion, inion). For example,

But the headset has this system already built in. As long as you get the forehead (Fp1 Fp2) located as shown in our photos, your positioning will be correct.
