Cyton board Bluetooth connection issue
Hello, I recently got the Cython (v3) with the Bluetooth dongle. I followed the instructions from the video and the docs but I am having issues connecting to the software (latest version). I have downloaded the drivers and the port (COM4) shows up, but when I try to run a scan, it says cant read from serial. I tried many ports but still same issue. I know that the board connects to the dongle since the lights light up. What could be wrong here?

Have you tried on another computer, in case there is something odd with your current machine (usb, COM ports, driver issues), etc. ? It sounds like you already tried AUTOSCAN.

If it fails on a 2nd computer, send an email to customer support, (contact at openbci.com).
Hello, I tested it on a different computer but came up with the same results on auto scan. By chance is it possible that there is anything wrong with the firmware, and if so how do I check it.
Email customer support. It is unlikely this is a firmware issue.
