    If you happen to have a Linux partition there, would be instructive to see if that works any better than Windows. The other Linux related thread claims it worked for him.

    If you are just using any other normal Linux with usb ports, the dongle plugs in directly. No OTG adaptor needed. The OpenBCI GUI should run fine with any Linux.

    One downside to these approaches is that they cannot stream from Ganglion (other than on Linux). Cyton serial port is the main device supported.
