SSVEP experiment, no FFT peaks found
by wjcroft ·In terms of the photo you gave, what is the source? I see that there are alternating patterns with 8 channels relatively 'RAILED' in magnitude or no/bad electrode connections. And the other groups of -
The electrodes lose their connection in the middle of the session.
by bathiya ·When we record EEG signals from a person, the electrodes placed on the forehead often become "railed,". Despite adjusting the electrodes to ensure they make proper contact with the skin, th -
openbci-ceegrids CythonDaisy Board- GUI
by Soroushzrzz ·connecting the electrodes, some of them are not railed. Also, I checked the impedance, and most of them are between 10 and kOhm. -
Calculating PSD with 16-electrodes OpenBCi
by Soroushzrzz ·Also, I dropped 3 channels since the stream data through GUI is not railed and does not have a good signal-to-noise ratio. -

ThinkPulse active electrodes, Q&A
by Abdullah ·Recently I have bought the OPenbci ALL-IN-ONE ACTIVE EEG ELECTRODE BUNDLE. When _ connected the 16 channels and started to test the kit, almost all the channels were railed 100%. -
Very limited data over Data Stream
by wjcroft ·See this thread on suggestions for getting 'unrailed'. -
Getting railed - using both snap and golden electrodes with Cyton
by DrLu ·I notice that even when the channel starts climbing to get railed the uVrms (if that's the same thing we're talking about) still remains well bellow 100, but since the channel eventually gets railed i -

All channels with the same signal
by SpaceDonut ·Today I tried moistening my earlobes and pressing on the ear clips. This two actions returned the Railed to its normal values, on channel 10 I can even see myself blinking hard, but the noise is still -
All channels with the same signal
by SpaceDonut ·I have a problem. When I launch the Ultracortex helmet with Cyton and Daisy, all channels begin to show the same large noisy signal, at which the Railed is about 60-80%. The helmet worked fine before. -
plotting brain states - beta, alpha, theta, etc. over time
by wjcroft ·The recording files use microvolts. Did the EEG Time Series on the screen during recording appear to be 'railed' or not? The recording file is RAW with no pre-filtering. -
How to get band powers from noisy data
by George3d6 ·I'm unsure what the unit used here is (?) -- I assume uv? If so it does indeed seem like everything I have is railed, but this doesn't match with what the GUI is telling me -
Wifi shield/Cyton not working after use
by J_MCHA9782 ·During a session, the cyton board/wifi shield seemed to crash after getting railed, and since then we have not been able to reestablish a connection with it or the board. The wifi shield will still sh -
Getting railed - using both snap and golden electrodes with Cyton
by DrLu ·as you can see from the picture, channel 5 EEG which is snap electrode gets immediately near railed and climbing, eventually completely railed if will stay long enough I take it from my last trails. -
Getting railed - using both snap and golden electrodes with Cyton
by DrLu ·When I set it up my EEG golden electrodes get “Railed” as in the picture, and stop receiving a signal. -

How to get band powers from noisy data
by George3d6 ·Due to the nature of dry electrodes and me being a suboptimal eeg-on-head placer I expect a bunch of the electrodes will end up railed and most (all?) of them will be very noisy.
