I would like to route the MIDI from BrainBay  to the "internal MIDI 1" defined by LoopBe30 and then to DarkWave Studio. Is it possible?

Even easier is to use a VPL such as OpenViBE, BioEra, Bioexplorer, BrainBay, LabVIEW, neuromore, etc. that generates the feedback directly on the laptop. This is how neurofeedback programs work.

Regarding OpenViBE and BrainBay, correct, these require a serial port. Since interfacing to Ganglion takes substantially more code and effort than the serial port approach, it may be some time before

The high pass filter will work if you are doing it correctly. To verify this, explore some of the VPLs, such as BrainBay, neuromore, OpenViBE, etc.

I still suggest you find another laptop or OS such as Linux and install the GUI from the source. You could also try an alternate [GUI like] program such as neuromore or BrainBay or one of the other VP

All the VPL (Visual Programming Language) programs can do this: BrainBay, neuromore, OpenViBE, BioEra, LabVIEW. These already work with the original OpenBCI 8 and 16 channel boards. However it may tak

Thank you, wjcroft.I cross-studied OpenVibe as well as BrainBay and discovered that both work as intended. I built some custom BrainBay designs and tried recreating them in Neuromore. Neuromore still

The V1 firmware had (I think) several modes of failure on long sessions. In one mode that I have seen with BrainBay, the packets kept coming in, but as you say were not monotonically increasing the pa

The FFT function in many applications (OpenBCI_GUI, OpenViBE, neuromore, BrainBay, BioEra, etc.) is certainly helpful for characterizing what frequencies are present. Although I'm not sure I would ref

It's easy to modify BrainBay (or other VPL) designs to remove or add elements. It would only take a few minutes to turn the 5 channel synchrony protocol into a 4 channel version. Take a look at one Br
