Hi - I would appreciate any updates on this, I'm wondering the same thing.Alternatively, if I used a dongle per subject is streaming data as simple as just running a different GUI's for each dongle?

Here's the sample graph with bandpass .01,40 Hz. The difference from .05,40 was negligible in the graph. The order didn't make difference either, when I changed from 5 to 4. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oStwZPGnIQrByCfNgskxUYMGifiNTga5/view?usp=…

I'm transforming the raw .txt from the SavedData into sine, then putting bandpass filter 0.01 to 55 Hz. Is there anything I'm missing?
-
Thanks, the bandpass filter still is not enough. For example, how do I go from sine waves to what's showing as the ECG, with the R waves?
-
Any guesses on how to do low filters? It looks like the most voted code in the stackoverflow only has high pass filter. I created my own lowpass filter and tried it but didn't work.

Awesome, ty!

Mean of 255 data points x 3 sec is appx. 17705. What filtering process do you recommend?
-
The .txt file says "EEG data in microvolts." Below are some samples. 17723.7517208.7617234.4917846.3217846.7917272.4917176.2917768.3817892.2117395.42

Hi Billh, yes, I imported the data and graphed it in python, but the graph is different from what I see in OpenBCI GUI. So I'm assuming I'm missing some pre-processing steps, but it's difficult to find a documentation on that. For example, what woul…

any help would be appreciated!

As far as it concerns the instructions for updating Cyton firmware, yes, the folder structure as it should be.Some of the folders for OpenBCI changed after installation, but it runs fine.
-
I noticed that as well, it's gotta be a programming error because the folder structure is fine and I see 'core.a'.How do I fix it so that it's writing backward slash instead of forward slash?
-
Please advise!

Tried the recommended step here http://openbci.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/598/openbci-32bit-compile-error-plib-h-no-such-file-or-directory, to download and use the specified chipkit core https://chipkit.s3.amazonaws.com/chipkit-core/builds/wi…

Haha, sounds like I'll have to update firmware eventually then. Thanks again!
-
works, using the 2015 version! thank you
-
Thank you, William! Very excited to try. How much time do you recommend that I budget for firmware upgrade? Also I found the older versions...will try with 2015 version before upgrading firmware. http://openbci.com/index.php/software

Hm the "status" on the radio configuration shows "ÿÿ" or "Error connecting to Serial port. Try a different port?" I tried on all 3 available USB port on my laptop, and same error messages show. It was purchased a few years ago. How do I upgrade t…

hmm i reinitiated, the blue light is back on the dongle, and the GUI log now reads "cyton: openNewLogFile: opened ODF output file: SavedData\OpenBCI-RAW-2018-03-18_15-08-22.txt" but I don't see any text file or anything on the GUI For that matter.
-
Hm ok so the COM3 shows up on Cyton under Serial/COM Port but the blue light is off on the dongle now for some reason, after I installed the FTDI driver. The error message at the bottom of the GUI window logs "Init timeout. Verify your Serial/COM Po…

Hi William - I'm using Windows 10 Home / ASUS

this the dongle that came with the board https://shop.openbci.com/products/cyton-biosensing-board-8-channel?variant=38958638542

I'm using an older dongle FT231x. Does GUI only work with CSR dongle? Any way for me to get the GUI to work while I wait for it to ship?
-
GUI opens now, troubleshooting bluetooth, as the dongle is not picking it up in "BLE DEVICES" section.
-
It's working, thank you!

i'm having the issue; did you resolve it?
