Hi Pushtheworld, I set this up back in 01/18 & used the resources from the links provided in the Shop section of the Openbci page (directed me to the Openbci Learning pages). After doing the initial wiring/setup I got busy with other project…

Okay issue resolved. I double checked the pictures Shirley & Pushtheworld sent and looked at my configuration and could clearly see I needed to move my wiring to pins 9-16 on the Daisy board (previously attached to pins on the Cyton), the Y cabl…

Hello Shirley, I have looked at the attachments in both emails & the links to the images you have provided. These pictures all show the connection (on both Cyton & Daisy closest to the board) which is what I have and show in the picture I se…

Hello Wjcroft, Would be happy to. To which Google drive are you referring to? I do not use Google drive.

Hello Biomurph, I just consulted the picture I sent to you. To be clear: the picture shows my connection on pins (closest to the board) on the Daisy and the Cyton. Do I have the correct understanding, based on your comments: Daisy: I should …

Yes on 3/7 I sent an email to contact@openbci and received a reply stating I had opened case#: 6726 but nothing since. I also sent a follow up email on 3/13, checking on my inquiry, and have not received a reply. We are located in Arizona (so not …

Yes I wiggled, disconnected reconnected the Y cable connections and got the same result. I also soldered up a new Y cable (tested the cable to confirm it is good), the replaced the old Y cable with the new one and I get the same result.

Hello wjcroft, To confirm: The results I was making reference to was for the '[' test only. I continue to see the Railed result on channel's 9-16 with the electrodes on the head.

Hello Pushtheworld, I have tried this test with and without the Y cable and get the same result when pressing the '[' key from the Gui. I get a sign wave across all 16 channels.Based on the test it sound like the Daisy/Cyton combination is working…

Yes using the closest pin on each board.

Yes I did find the other threads. I will use the email contact suggestion you mentioned earlier to see if there are any suggestions. Thank you for the assist!

Please allow me to clarify: The Y cable scenario is still required. Yes?

Hello, I'm using a clip lead (and it checks out with an ohmmeter), using the clip lead I have enough room on the pin to also plug in my ear clip. Also (see below), I believe my board came pre-soldered. Inquiry on Daisy Board: OpenBCI…

Asked and answered- just received a reply from sales@openbci and wanted to post in case anyone else is curious about this in the future:"Hi David, Your Daisy doesn't have that issue. Best, Alex"

Thank you for the additional information. Generally speaking a medium will in fact fit a 58cm head, at least it did with our experience (with a little room to spare). It is clear to us now that a large would have been too big for our use/testing. Si…

Indeed, just shutting off the mouse seemed to resolve my issues. Mouse= Amazon Basics Model #: MG-0975 I will continue observations, if I run into any other noteworthy comm issues I will find this tread and update.

I consistently have the equipment working now and wanted to share the results/findings in the event it helps someone else out. Turned out I was getting interference from my wireless mouse- when I turned the mouse itself off (has a switch) I…

Purchased this a week ago, when the dongle is plugged in and I'm not doing anything there is a blue light on the dongle and a blue light on the Cyton board, when I auto scan the only difference in lights I see is a large flicker between the transmit…

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. No red lights but I get the same result, as previously reported, in the OpenBCI Gui- this did not work.
-
My misunderstanding, I was unaware it was that complicated & looking for a yes or no from anyone w/ previous experience. I have not contacted OpenBCI that was my next step. Thanks for the clarification!

Since this is a non answer I will assume the answer is no a medium will not fit a 58cm diameter head. Anyone else?
