It's there Just scroll down while the list is open. This was moved farther down the list in favor of data types that are more typically used in prototyping.

Awesome!

https://github.com/OpenBCI/OpenBCI_GUI/issues/893 I've looked into SD card recording quite a few times, and since its a minor feature of the board, there are rare requests to investigate and then even less resources to look at: firmware, BrainFlo…

+1 Optoisolation is the way! It should resolve this.

For issues such as this, a screenshot is required to proceed with debugging.

I can assess the console log. There are no BrainFlow errors, so the Dongle is able to send commands using BrainFlow. We don't get a full call/response from the Cyton board with BrainFlow commands, only that the Dongle has sent them. The board howeve…

The screenshot above is not from the latest GUI. The Filter buttons in the Networking Widget only apply to TimeSeries data type. Every other data type ignores this, as it's not applicable. The EMG data sent out is fed filtered data and then norma…

It is not possible in GUI 5.1.0 to save GUI Recording files anywhere but [User]/Documents/OpenBCI_GUI. This simplifies the location of all saved data for all users. We only allow users the option to rename the Session folder. It does seem possibl…

There is nothing here that seems like an obvious bug. I would need to see a video recording of what's happening. The values from the screenshot are likely correct. When checking impedance there is a small spike between 0-1 seconds that happens as a …

For issues such as this, it's very important to share the code that you have written in Matlab.

The current local time while data is streaming. If you stop streaming data or no new data comes in after five seconds, the data stream will stop and you would know roughly the last time data was streaming.
-
Thanks for asking about this. We are increasing the priority of this feature request to support the OpenBCI team internally. This is scheduled to be included in a public release of the GUI in the next month or so. We will be tapping into the BrainFl…

We have updated the EMG setup doc for Cyton to mention connecting to the BIAS. TI data sheet recommends this in all diagrams and language. ADND/DGND pins are meant for chip/component/battery connections. https://docs.openbci.com/GettingStarted/Bi…

These are three separate LSL streams. If you want to change a parameter for the stream, you would need to stop them and change them. When we start an LSL stream we have to declare certain values, such as the number of channels (done automatically in…

To start an LSL stream from the Networking Widget, simply select your data type and then click "Start LSL Stream". The LSL stream is then live and ready to be received by another application or process. Every data output from the GUI has been tes…

I don't believe that the GUI v4 or GUI v5 data pipelines would be related to what we see in this image. It's too odd and likely is accurate data from the board. Both the spikes/dips and small waves in-between are not expected behavior. Floating chan…

In your case, you can probably continue to use 4.2.0 to convert the files. I'd like to also distribute a Python script to everyone that accomplishes this much.
-
@Shyamal Where are you trying to use the SD card files primarily? GUI v5.1.0 can play back these files just fine as it converts them in the background.
-
It's not hard for me to evaluate GUI screenshots with adequate detail. This usually tells me much more than qualitative descriptions, though I appreciate the context descriptions.

Woah! This is some serious hacking. Made my day to see this cool thread.

Yes, a new Hex conversion tool is in scheduled for the very near future. Tasks for the public repos and GUI have just been re-prioritized for early 2023.

About an alternative Linux OS, we do our best to support Ubuntu, Mac OS, and Windows. I think Processing GUI renders most graphics through the CPU, but that's really out of our hands and more in how Java FX interacts with the OS and machine. The Hea…

@DashBarkHuss I am the creator of the Arduino Focus example that I think you are working on. I am also updating this Instructable/Example at this very moment. Attached you will find a picture of my "Focus Fan" that uses an FTDI breakout cable att…

https://github.com/OpenBCI/OpenBCI_GUI/issues/1014 Linking this thread and this issue. Upping the priority and planning this for next GUI which is now in active development.

@Cyrus Thanks for reaching out. This seems to be completely normal behavior. I am attaching a screenshot of my personal Cyton+Daisy when I gently touch the all of the pins with my fingers at once. I have the board sitting in a case on my desk, and y…

The default thresholds in the lower left can be adjusted by clicking on the text box and typing in a new value. Hope this helps!

@ynivekc Awesome! Glad you got this to work with a USB extender. This helps confirm that we should recommend this to users who have similar issues.
-
@DarkBarkHuss We are working on a fix for Macs with USB C ports such that we could all connect to Ganglion using built-in bluetooth. We will post here in the forum and likely send out an email when it is available.

In this case, I think the electrode is not making good contact with the skin. Also, the reference impedance is low but not great, so it may not be making great contact either.

Here is an article written by the creator of BrainFlow, Andrey, which directly addresses this question: https://brainflow.org/2021-02-05-lsl-review/
