Hello, William. Thank you for your response. I guess now I have the same question as shanks/David on the possibility of purchasing these additional hex crimp nuts online in Europe?

After multiple usage, many of the dry electrodes provided with the Mark Cortex headset has its wires snapped off (see photo). I do not see an option to only buy the electrodes in the OpenBCI shop. Where can I purchase the exact same electrodes to co…

Yes, this is a commercial gel product - 'signa gel' made by Parker Laboratories. Thanks again for the clarification.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I misunderstood the word amplifier - thinking that the device is actually connected with an actual signal amplifier. I'll probably try different electrodes as an alternative. Thank you for the suggestions. Also, I'l…

The impedence was <10 at the start of the experiment. I missed your question about the amplifier, for my experiment, I did not use an amplifier for both my mobile device - could that be the reason there were no clear ERPs then?

The 10-20 locations for 16 OpenBCI electrodes are the standard configuration provided in the tutorial. For reference and bias, they are connected with the ear clips provided. I've not moved them or deviated from the standard configuration for this d…

Do you mean the reference for the other devices? For Emotiv it is on the bone right behind the ears. The uniform grey coating looks fine, to the naked eye, it is as they are when they first came in.

I have the dry/spiky electrodes for my OpenBCI setup. On the GUI, it appears that some electrodes have better signal than others but I can still see clear artifacts and alpha waves. I've been using the electrodes for a few months now and I've notice…

Great! Thank you!

I've done the clip lead test and got a number close to zero. On the other hand, I've changed the SRB pin to the bottom one - next to the other electrode pins. Photo here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BvktqSrrucerjDeAVrZRMwOU94fX4605 And half t…

I’ll try the clip lead test when I get back to the office. In the mean time, happy holidays hope you have a good one.

Here is the photograph of the board https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Y4TnvDpUcdCxeug5MRlAsXpGFZAbxyRG I’ve tried swapping the ear clips between SRB and bias but receiving the same results. However, if I plug the ear clips into different places (e…

With the exception of the earclips, all connections to the board are made to the pins closest to the board surface.

Hello William, Thank you for the prompt response! If I first place the headset on my head with earclips, then start the GUI, all channels will be railed from the start. I've also checked the wires using a digital ohmmeter and it seems to b…
