Alright, thanks!

Now that you are talking about DC noise, I must also say that I had to place Ganglion about 1 meter away from my laptop because the noise was clear in the GUI when not 1 meter away. Also, I noticed that if my feet were not on the ground, DC noise …

No, I do not have any new ones.. But I think the package had some more electrodes so I will check and post back. Is the constant positive / negative value an indication of DC noise or the large raw values (300, 900μV)? What if the reference or gr…

Hello again! I'm re-evaluating the use of Ganglion for my experiment and I'm trying to figure out if my EEG values are considered reasonable. I attached gold cup electrodes to F3, F4, P3 and P4 positions referenced to A1 and grounded to A2. I do n…

I can share with you the Console File that was created from the Processing IDE. But still, no Console_* was created when I ran the standalon GUI! You could connect remotely to my PC to check details if you want, so that it can be helpful to other…

I can share with you the Console that was created from the Processing IDE. But still, no Console_* text file is created when I run the standalon GUI! I don't have a problem to provide you a TeamViewer for you to see further details if you want.
-
Yes!!! It's working from Processing IDE. Thank you!

Actually I downloaded OpenGL Extensions Viewer because it was not clear to me the version of OpenGL that I had (maybe intel says nosense?) Here is the screenshot. It says I have 4.6! wjcroft, I have chosen Nvidia to be the preffered one but n…

Oh I'm sorry you are right, but there is no other log file in that folder. Only Brainflow_*!

Hello again! Thank you for your answers. I do not see anything alarming at the logs: [2021-11-04 19:46:09.337] [board_logger] [info] incoming json: {"ip_address":"","mac_address":"d4:ba:73:0f:6f:93","serial_port":"COM7","ip_port":6677,"ip_proto…

I already did and they helped already! I was using the old CSR Dongle instead of BLED112. I will purchase the correct one and find out if it works in Brainflow. Thanks a lot!

I tried to connect Muse 2 with brainflow a couple days earlier (as suggested also by wjcroft) but did not manage to do it.. Anyways thank you so much for your reply! Didn't know it had a good community so maybe I should try it again and ask for he…

Yes, I am talking about the raw EEG output (of any EEG device actually), without filtering. For example, I am streaming raw data from Muse 2 that does not have any impedance check control, so I was wondering if I can indirectly perform a signal qua…

Is + or - 200 μV, max are generally normal values for raw amplitude, as you said? If so, is this an indication of quality signal? So if raw amplitude is let's say, + or - 300 μV, then the electrode is not placed correctly, right? I am talking ab…

Muse forum is unavailable for some strange reason. (I can no longer track it) I will try brainflow as well, thanks.

Nevermind, I am now sure it does not need any training labels. It is calculated from PSD etc. Thanks anyways!

Thanks!

Hello, Any news about neurofeedback software support of the Ganglion board? Does the current version of the OpenBCI GUI now outputs in LSL? Thank you.
-
It's ok, I will proceed by cutting the lead cable and solder them to female jumper wires. I never intend to go back to touchproof. Thank you William!
-
@wjcroft Regarding : "To plug the FRIs into header pins, just cut off the touchproofs on the FRI cables and splice with a header pin female connector cable (cut in half), such as, https://www.adafruit.com/product/266 If you cut the touchproof of…

@kuisi what paste did you use first and what now? Just for reference.. thanks!

Hello to you too and welcome!I can totally understand you... well, I've been waiting for a whole year for the kickstarter campaign of the Ganglion board! And now that the Ganglion has arrived, I have realised to my surprise that the conductive paste…

I would also like that. I have created an issue on github.

Hi Alan, Are you talking about the gold cup electrodes or the ones included at the Ultracortex? What do you mean unusual?
-
Hi wyan868, Wireless connection (bluetooth for example) between the OpenBCI and your PC is used for security reasons. You should never consider doing otherwise.
-
Do you have the latest FTDI drivers installed? Also, did you run the steps with the bluetooth dongle and zadig? Not sure if this may cause a problem at the initialize of the GUI but just checking.
-
Hello, Did you search for any log file? At my folder structure of the GUI I don't see anything like a log file but I didn't have any crash. Alternatively, have you tried it through the Processing IDE?
-
They just answered me on email. The cap is not available right now so I might choose the headband. Simple vs EEG headband is now my dilemma!
-
One last question: What will have a better connection at the dry electrodes, the cap or the headband? I guess the cap will apply a general pressure at the head while the headband will be more adjustable. Am I right? Anything else to consider between…

Hello again guys,I had the exact problem Elisabeth was describing, I installed the CSR Harmony driver that you said Elisabeth but Ganglion was still not recognized. Eventually, I don't know what solved it. I changed USB ports (it actually works on…
