I'm sorry I don't understand. The data is all digitalised. Everything in Matlab is digitalised. I can explain how to plot the EEG data recorded with the OpenBCI system in Matlab if that is what you are asking?

Hi Sangeetha, I am not 100% sure what you are asking. Are you asking how to export the .txt file into another format? What format are you wanting to export it too? What software platform are you using to do this? Regards, Kaelasha

Hi all (and thanks William), There are a few threads around dealing with this issue. Just in case anyone stumbles across this thread in the future, this worked for me: Solution from @mizanur36, posted on other thread, mizanur36 Dallas, T…

Hi Katherine (from 2017!) Did you (or anyone else!) ever find the solution to this problem? I seem to be having the same problem, and it is not clear to me if the solution is in any of the answers above. I am wanting to stream EEG online u…

Hi all, Thanks for your thoughts and feedback. Bill, I'm not sure what the distinction is between 'normal phenomena' and 'seizures'. I thought K-complex were considered small seizures, or 'seizure like'? Basically, the EEG here is recorded…

Hi Bill, Yes, these figures in the link you gave are K-complexes. Other people also initially wondered if the spikes in my data may have also been K-complexes. However after having a look at this data, colleagues at my university think they are mo…

Hi all, I just thought I'd share some of what I have managed to record with my Cyton board. When I meditate, for sometime I have been experiencing what I guess medical science would call seizure like activity, but which yogic literature clas…

Hi all, With a now functional upgrade of my Cyton firmware, I am able to insert triggers in the data with a push of the PROG button. Yay! These triggers show up as square waves in the 12th column of the .txt file produced, and I can see the D1…

Hallelujah! I see data! Downgrading to chipkit 1.3.1 appears to have solved the problem. Thanks so much for the help!

Hi Luc, I am interested in talking more and being involved in this project. I am a meditator, am a neuroscience PhD graduate, and have been playing around with an OpenBCI Cyton board since late last year. From looking at some of the liter…

Hi William, When streaming, the dongle shows both a blue led, and a red led light. Neither are flickering. I am pretty sure that the red was not showing, when streaming prior to this attempted firmware upgrade. Also, when doing the firmware u…

Hi, I tried to update firmware earlier today, and now also find the same problem. The serial connection seems to be ok, and the radio configuration reports 'Success:System is up', but there is absolutely no data streaming: the .txt files that…

Hey Push the world, Just getting back to this now. Where in the data do the triggers show up, from a push of the PROG button? Do they show up in separate channels? or actually in the data in channels N1 to N8 (for Cyton)? You mention …

Great! I hadn't realised it was going to be that simple. I will have a go at this shortly and may also see if I can rig up an external button box. Will let you know how it goes. Cheers,

Thanks! Worked perfect!
