  • @wjcroft. Thanks for the info, not checked the links yet but hopefully they would solve the issue, will ping back if anything more needs to be resolved. @retiutut I presented a scenario where I felt that the cyton could not be used, I would be ne…
  • Like measuring ECG, EEG and EMG with 1 Cyton. For eg. if I have a 3 electrode ECG(LA, RA, LF, RLD) , 3 lead EEG in referential montage , 2 electrode EMG, will all of these measuments be simultaneously possible on a single cyton board?
  • Ok, thanks for the info, I vaguely remembered reading on these forums that V4 would solve the limitations of V3.
  • @retiutut, thanks for the update, that information will surely help.
  • Thanks for the clarifications!
  • Hi William good to note that, I believe that packets are sent to the PC via Bluetooth radio, I have a model where the dongle is based on RFD22301, I guess the data would be sent a packets and also arrive at the PC in packets. So would the PC assin…
  • Is there any problem of having an open board for devices like EKG's, ECG's can't it be certified as a module? BTW I just needed info on the topics I listed above, I'm aware of the cost's involved. And needed to know, how much work would be involved…
  • Ok, thanks for reaffirming that. So in this configuration the ECG is not cancelling the common mode noise signals correct while the EEG is. Probable the best way to know it is to test it. I'll try and get my hands on another Cyton board.
  • So the ECG board would be using the bias from EEG is that correct? I was wondering how would that work out, since both boards use separate set of batteries and are not connected in anyway so are floating with respect to each other. Also I have only…
  • Thanks, Thanks and many thanks to @brain, @AdamM and also @wjcroft.
  • Sorry, for intruding in this old post. I was interested in the heart rate calculation via BrainBay however the link the file listed in that forum http://neurobb.com/t/heart-rate-detection-in-brainbay/28 is dead. Is any copy of that file exists. Ple…
  • I have quite long ECG 5 Lead cables, that may be contributing to the extra noise on the channels. Also they have a shield wire. But I guess there is no connection for shield on the Cyton.1. Also is there a way of measuring the CMRR of the whole syst…
  • I was playing around with the filter settings and when I selected "No Notch" and "No BP" then the waveforms no longer showed on screen. I tried all ranges but still no luck. I had to switch to auto to get it back on screen. Regarding the IN*N and …
  • These are the first test results. Of Lead I and Lead II only. For some reason I feel the waveforms look inverted. But I've connected as the diagram given above. Is the top row of the the input connector the IN*P pins when looking from the side where …
  • So I did a sample capture, I have ECG probes LEAD1 and LEAD2 connected as per the diagram given in my earlier post. Also BIAS connected. And this is a snippet of my CSV file. I have not connected the electrodes to anything just left them open. 9…
  • This is great info! Thanks a million! Regards, Bio
  • Ok that's good for starters. I was wondering if we can get access to the raw binary data thats streaming in and view it in OpenBCI, or maybe even in the OpenBCI Python Toolkit.
  • William, its good to hear that!So the CSV file is saved in Open BCI format? I mean, would it be in something like  CH0 CH0 CH0 CH1 CH1 CH1 CH2 CH2 CH2... and so on  I have shown 3 bytes for each channel, I guess ADS1299 also gives back a sta…
  • Amazing and mind blowing. This is too good! Many many many thanks William! I see you have wired up the Leads in reverse polarity to what is standardly done. Correct? Because AFAIK Lead I = RA- and LA+ Lead II = RA- and LL+ Lead III = LA- an…
