Setting up marker using game controller!!

So i just got my OpenBCI and exited to use it in my research using ERP. However, since I'm a totally new to this, i got confused on how to setting up external controller to use it as marker (i.e. game controller like PlayStation's stick). I read the tutorial but it's still too heavy for me since i don't have any experiences on Arduino.

I planned to use a PS controller for subjects to navigate on main task in an experiment's protocol i designed. It only take a button or two.

So any experienced user here maybe could advise me on this? I understand that i have to connect the controller to IO in OpenBCI whereas i need also to connect the same controller to PC. My main concern is, is it safe to do if i connect cables that goes from controller to PC and connect it to the Arduino, maybe by splitting the cables? Or is there anyway i could do it by software?

Kamoshiyaan, you appear to be posting spam. I edited out the https: and changed to zzzz:, so no one will follow your potentially dangerous links.

Please explain yourself. Congratulations on the first post using all the right terminology. Have never seen spammers go this far to post their crap.
