how to get cyton firmware versions number?

I am a new one, I just bought the Cyton board and the wifi shield, I want to know how do I know my Cyton board firmware versions number, I want to know what do I need to update my Cyton board firmware? Thanks

    One way to do this, is to connect a "terminal emulator" to the Cyton dongle COM port, then send a '?' character. This will dump the version number and registers. The baud rate is 115200 bits/sec.

    Thanks! I couldn't find the version with the '?" but 'v' returned it.

    Right, it actually prints the version out whenever the board "powers up" or resets, which the 'v' does.
