bandwidth selection in between 50 Hz to 500Hz

Respected Sir,
I used 32 bit cyton board with WifFi shield. I want to used this unit for facial EMG signal detection. in many paper researcher used EMG signal of 50Hz to 500Hz bandwidth. in your GUI I observed frequency from 0 to 50 Hz.Can  I able to select 50Hz to 1000Hz signal from same unit?. I found 1000Hz sampling frequency in WiFi shield. Can I get required frequency rang from raw signal of SD card?please guide me for it.

    The Cyton sampling rate without Wifi Shield is 250 Hz. This gives a bandwidth according to Nyquist limit, of 0 to 125 Hz. But in actually, more like 0 to 50 Hz, since you want multiple samples per waveform to avoid aliasing effects. 5 samples per waveform is a good number, hence 250/5 = 50 Hz. Two samples per waveform give awful alias misinterpretations.

    Other sample rates are available when you use the shield, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, etc. The same sample rate to bandwidth calculation can be done.

    I'm not sure about recording higher frequencies to the SD card. Some previous threads on the forum here indicated that may not work as expected with the current firmware.
