Hello OpenBCI forum, how are you?

I've just recived my Ganglions boards for my lab. I was testing the boards using the OpenBCI GUI and everything is ok.

Now, I need to use 3rd party software in order to make some BCI application. So, I've tried using OpenVibe and BrainBy but I can not connect my board. I was reading some posts about how to connect the Ganglion with these software, but I am confused.

Any one can help me, please? It is possible use the ganglion board with some of these softwares? What do you recommend?

Lucas, hi.

BrainBay should work fine with Ganglion,

With OpenViBE, you can create a LabStrreamingLayer (LSL) stream from the Ganglion, then consume that with OpenViBE. Use the search button in the right column to find more posts on this. The LSL stream can be created either from the GUI Networking Widget, or from OpenBCI_Python plugin.

If your goal is neurofeedback, the best platform for that is BioEra, which supports both Ganglion and Cyton directly. (Using the BLED112 dongle.)

I will try using the LabStreamingLayer.

One more question. Time ago I use BCPy2000 and BCI2000 in order to make a BCI using a speller by regions to evoke P300. I was wondering if I can use the OpenBCI Python library and others to make this. I mean, I want to make the speller, the signal processing and the feedback.

BCI2000 now has a direct Cyton driver,

However I see nothing regarding Ganglion. I would suggest checking the BCI2000 community to see if they support LSL. For example,

Lucas, hi.

BrainBay recently got an upgrade which allows it to connect with Ganglion using either CSR or (preferred) BLED112 dongles. The issue you were having before might have been due to changes in the OpenBCI Hub, that confused BrainBay.
