Getting Started with Cyton, requesting help

I just received my ultra cortex cap and my Cyton Board. I put it all together and plugged in the usb dongle. What is my next step? I would like to use the GUI to see brainwaves from the cap. Can someone guide me as to what I need to download? I am running Windows 10. 64 bit system.

Please help!

William, I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I have been reading through all the documentation that you sent but I am still really confused. I can't figure out how to install the FTDI driver?

Your Windows 10 might already have installed it for you. When you plug in / remove the dongle, do you see a COM port show up in your Device Manager listings? If so, then Windows is using the current driver.

The instructions in the tutorial are a "catch-all" for all versions of OS. Some may not have the latest drivers.

Okay - so it seems that I already have the driver. I guess the next step is to install the GUI software. Do I want the stand alone?

Stand alone is fine. The Processing version includes the files needed to modify the source code; which you likely will not need.

I really appreciate all of your help but I am still not connected. I am willing to pay someone to help me connect. If I can't get connected then I will need to return the equipment.
