Looking for a software programmer to write a simple neurofeedback program
I am trying to find a programmer to work with to build a simple neurofeedback software that fades the screen and the volume based on thermos or thresholds. For example, if we wanted train beta up and theta down, we would have 2 thermos one monitoring beta and one monitoring theta. The threshold bar would be set automatically based on the previous 30 seconds of data and the bar would be set to 75% reward. When the person's magnitude of theta went below that bar, then the screen would get dark and when it went above the bar it would get light - they would be receiving the reward of the light screen by keeping their beta higher. The same would be true with theta but instead of getting the reward when theta was high, they would get it when theta was low, thereby training the individual to bring theta down.
I will be working with 12 preset protocols
I am using the ultracortex mark 4 eeg headset with the 8 channel Cyton Biosensing Board

I would be willing to take a look at this. One option is to do a screen fade in a BioEra display element. The other would be to utilize BxShadow for the visual and audio fading. I have faded video screens before and the routine can be customized to your needs. It is likely a simple matter to do that with audio as well

As far as I know BxShadow is the only means of total screen dimming.
