Noise in channel 1, with no electrodes connected

edited October 2018 in Cyton
Hi, I connect the SRB and BIAS to my right and left earlobe, channel 1~16 didn't connect to any Dupoint line, and it should be rail I think.

However there exists noise signal from ch1, I don't know how to deal with this

    What is a "Dupoint line"??

Electrodes must be connected if you expect to get a valid signal. Without electrode, the channel can have ANY behavior. Did you follow the tutorial steps? Do you get the predicted output?

    I mean "Dupont wire"
Yes, I have followed the tutorial steps.
But I expected that when I connect the BIAS and SRB to my earlobe and let ch1~16 connect to nothing, signal from each channel should be rail, just like the channel 2~16 in the second picture I post, however ch1 had a signal I didn't know where it  came from, it appears randomly.

I just want to make sure what happened, if this state is one of "ANY behavior", maybe I can ignore it

Did you see EEG, ECG, EMG signals as expected in the tutorial? If yes, then your system is working fine.
