Header Pin to Touch Proof Electrode Adapter

Hi,

about the "Header Pin to Touch Proof Electrode Adapter": what's the standard commercial/medical name of this particular kind of cable+adapters? I am not able to find anything similar somewhere else. Was it customly built by the OBCI team?

    Yes, this adapter is custom built for OpenBCI, because OpenBCI uses male header pins on the Cyton and Ganglion boards. The adapter combines a female header connector with a touchproof connector at the other end. Touchproof connectors are the industry standard for EEG electrode leads.

    If you are curious about making your own, you can find suppliers of both header pin cables and touchproof cables online. You could achieve the same effect by splicing two of these together.
