Measurement difference between electrodes 1-8 and 9-14

edited July 2018 in Cyton
Hello, I've noticed a clear voltage difference between the first 8 electrodes and the additional 8 with the daisy module. What could explain this difference?

    Jessica, hi.

Is this just happening recently, or has it been present since your original use of the Cyton?

What 10-20 sites are the electrodes located at? That will make a huge difference.

If you wanted to actually test this more accurately, you could make a Y-cable, that combines two female connectors with one male. Plug the females into say channels 1 and 8, and the male in the the single 10-20 site electrode you are testing.

(Cut two of those jumpers in half. Discard one of the males. Strip the remaining three wires so about 1 cm wire is bare. Twist together, seal with tape.)

    Regards,

    William
