No Data Stream - Cyton V3, Serial, GUI 3.3.1, Win 10

Hi people, thank you for this amazing project, this is my first post.

I am unable to get any data after the Data Stream is started.
No data from time series nor from the accelerometer.

I am using a Cyton V3 (serial-dongle) GUI 3.3.1, HUB started as administrator, windows 10.
Serial/COM port- Status "Success: System is Up"
Battery 3.7V 1200 mAh (checked, shows 4V in the meter)

All previously firmware procedures was successful.

The only thing that moves is the red and gray lines (+g and -g) from the accelerometer, but there is not data changing if I move the board, and after a few seconds the lines disappears as they move with the time and become a single 0g line. Time Series channels remains all 0.00 uVrms even if I touch the female pins on the board.

Am I doing some mistake?

Thanks in advance.

    Ze, hi.

You wrote, "All previously firmware procedures was successful." Are you saying that you updated the Cyton firmware? What firmware did you start with, and what do you have now? When did you purchase the Cyton?

    Regards,

    William

Hi William, thanks for your reply.

I did not purchase the fully Cyton, I got it in parts.

    My best,
    Ze

I just moved this thread to the Build-it-yourself category.

So it sounds like the lights are flickering on the dongle and you are receiving a data stream, but the data displayed is all zeros?

I'm not sure where I would suggest looking. So you are running the latest firmwares in all three processors?

The GUI app is likely not the issue. It could be hardware or firmware.

    Thanks for moving my post.

The dongle led (TXD and RXD) blinks only when connecting, after I start to stream the data nothing blinks and the data displayed is all zeros.

Yes, all firmwares are the latest.

I'm not a pro solder, but I have already done some similar soldering before. Is there a way to test if there is something bad connected between the board and the ICs? I thought that as all firmware were successfully uploaded, that at least the pic and the rfduinos are ok, but is there a way to test the ADS1299?

I also tried to help @zecahue with this on GitHub to rule out an issue with the GUI.
@zecahue confirms receiving success messages from status and system start.

"System is up" + "The GUI is done intializing. Cyton firmware v3.3.1 Press "Start Data Stream" to start streaming!"

This confirms running the latest Cyton firmware and seems to be connected when these messages are shown.

The dongle TxD light should be flashing rapidly during the entire data streaming operation. Then stops flashing when stream is halted.

Thanks @retiutut , GUI issue is discarded.

William, if the dongle flashes before for connecting, but not when streaming is started, is it maybe an ads1299 issue? Bad chip or bad soldering?
