Hello,
has anyone tried reading EEG with
p5.js
instead of Processing?

Have you looked at Alex Castillo's
@alexcastillo
javascript libraries? Not exactly the same as p5.js, but still Javascript based.
These work with Ganglion and I think also with Cyton (may require a Wifi Shield.)
