Where can I buy batterys in Australia?

I bought an 8 channel board but cant find a lithium battery to work with it.
i tried this thread but it would cost $60AUD to get it to me after shipping.

Otoko, hi.

Any Maker electronics store would have the batteries, such as,

You would want a relatively small one, such as 400 mAh, or 1000 mAh, depending on your mounting space.

is 3.7V ok? i thought it had to be 5V only?

Yes, you want the 3.7 volt cells. The Cyton (chipKIT / PIC32 / RFduino) and Ganglion (Simblee) have 3.3 volt regulators.

You might be thinking of the older ATmega based Cyton, which was 5 volt based. Those have not been sold for years.

oic. i just read that batterys can have different sized connectors. I know you can change the connector if you're good with wires, but how do I know the connector is the right size for my cyton 8 channel board?
