sending pulse sensor out via networking?

Hello,

Is there any way to send the pulse sensor data (current heart rate bpm) via the networking options in the GUI? 

I would like to use the bpm to trigger events in another application via OSC or UDP

    Duncan, hi.

    This widget is computing the BPM from the raw signal coming in from the pulse sensor,


    The Networking widget does the OSC output,


    It's possible you could hack together some type of linkup between these two.

    Thanks William. I'll look into this. I was hoping it would be possible, perhaps as a separate widget. If I get it to work I will post up a repository, perhaps others might have a use for it too.

    It might be easier than I mentioned (linkup between widgets)... Since the pulse sensor widget is pulling off the raw PPG data from one of the Aux channels as it is coming in -- if you then take the derived pulse rate and set that BACK INTO (the array buffer for) another of the aux channels, that might do it. Since this array buffer is what gets recorded to the txt file and converted to other networking formats. I guess it depends on the ordering of when the buffered data is utilized.

    This feature has been completed! Currently in code review! 

    Users will be able to send (BPM, Signal, IBI) with all networking modes.

    @duncanipher It's already on my GitHub under the Development branch if you want to try it. So hopefully soon! Working with AJ to make sure everything is OK before merging the pull request. 

    Also apart of the Development is added 4th stream for OSC so we can stream Pulse + Three other Streams. I've tested this using OSC so far with Max 7. Do you think the UDP needs a 4th stream also?
