Outputting Events from PC to OpenBCI for Psycho-physics with ERP

I would like to output events from a psychophysics experiment coded on my PC (coded in the program psychopy currently) to OPEN BCI for the purpose of detecting ERP's. What is the best way to do this? Do I need to make any hardware changes? I have the standard 8 bit board with electrodes (no breadboard). This is for a UC Irvine study but we are very new to this device!

Josh, hi.

The OpenBCI hardware device, is an INPUT device, not output. The OpenBCI GUI reads from the board and can save files / plot graphs. My interpretation of your question is that you want a program that will take events from your experiment, and look for ERPs in the EEG. This cannot be done with OpenBCI GUI, but can be done with packages such as OpenViBE and LabStreamingLayer.
