EEG with Arduino and Arduino WiFi Shield

Hello, 

I might learn more if I try to build an EEG.

What would be the main difference between a

1) 32bit Arduino + Wifi Shield (battery powered) + some instrumentation amplifiers;
2) Cyton + OpenBCI WifiShield?

    The Cyton ADS1299 has significant advantages to most IA based EEG amplifiers.

    Cyton + Wifi Shield, you still need to upgrade your firmware. Your best bet is to try the suggestions in the other thread: go to a reputable electronics repair shop and have them fix your RFduino firmware upload pads, soldering on small wires. After upgrade don't remove the wires, just tape the ends so they don't contact anything.

    Yes, I can see that the ADS1299 resolution and sample rate is higher than what the AnalogueRead page says for the Arduino, and probably there are other features as well. 

    ... so much to learn :) k
