3.2.0 - Converting SD file just hangs
Hi,
I want to use the SD card feature, but I cannot convert the
file when I am done. I copied the SD file to my PC, followed the
instructions to select it (and made sure I selected the correct number
of channels prior), only to have the GUI 'freeze'. It does not respond
after one hour. The file is insignificant in size (I recorded 1 minute
worth of data). There is no way it takes that long to convert a file
that small.
I am running 3.2.0, as the version I was running
prior did not allow me to record to SD format and I noticed a comment to
update to 3.2.0 for this feature to be available.
Thanks,
Don

It would seem that I am getting an output. During the upgrade to 3.2.0, the location where the files are being saved changed to a new folder (C:\Program Files\OpenBCI_GUI\SavedData). I was unaware of this.
I suggest you put information in the zip files that you review the tutorial section for complete instructions, and that you amend them to advise of the new file location. If the GUI is working correctly, then I find it odd that it does not respond after the conversion. I would have though you could select to do something else besides just exit?
I will now try to work with the files, although I am to understand that there is a problem with the marker?
Thanks,
Don
