Does the RFduino dongle work with OSX?

I have just completed a DIY of the Mark III Nova, and I have the Cyton with RF dongle. I'm reading the getting-started tutorial, and it says:

"The signal will not work if the Dongle is connected on a Mac."

So, wait, does this mean I have to DIY some kind of workaround to the plug-and-play wireless? I can't find any answers. I hope I'm misunderstanding... This would be a terrible roadblock to come up when I'm so close to getting this up and running. Please tell me I'm missing something simple....

I'm running OSX 10.11 and just installed OpenBCI GUI v2.2.1 and FTDI drivers 2.4.2 (64bit).

Thanks for pointing out that typo:

That sentence was intended to only apply for Ganglion users and the CSR dongle. Cyton users of course need the dongle. For Ganglion Mac users, the built in Bluetooth 4 hardware works fine, so no dongle needed.
