Antivirus removes the GUI application

My Antivirus QuickHeal removes the GUI application .exe file as soon as I extract it from the folder.

Kindly Help.

P.S. The virus it detects is Trojan Generic

Is it possible that your anti-virus program is somewhat over-zealous? You can also build the GUI from source,

The GUI zips are likely too large for this, but there is a great online virus scanning tool, called VirusTotal. It runs a scan on your file or installer, comparing the judgements of something like a hundred different virus programs. That way you can see if your virus protector is statistically in or out of alignment with the other major brands. I've never heard of QuickHeal to be honest.

When I run VirusTotal on a say a random installer that I want to use, there are occasionally one or two virus companies that don't like it. But the other 100 companies think it is fine. That's how I can tell.

Excuse my long winded previous response. Easiest solution is to 'exclude' OpenBCI from any scanning / detection,
