Possible to use OpenBCI software to read data from non-OpenBCI headset?

I'm wondering if it is at all possible to use the OpenBCI software to gather data that it being sent from a non-OpenBCI headset, like something from Neurosky for example. Would this be at all possible? Or are other hardwares too closed for this to be achieved?

Raw data for the other headsets is already available, for example,

OpenBCI_GUI and related software is only relevant to OpenBCI hardware. However all source is open so you could possibly code some type of converter layer to bridge other headset data formats into OpenBCI formats.
