Looking for Research Collaborator in SF Bay Area
I'm an independent researcher with many previously published papers (see http://www.eftuniverse.com/english/reprinted-academic-articles). I'm fascinated by the potential of BCI, and blown away by all the very smart people I see here at Open BCI!
I'd like to use BCI for a study of the effects of certain cymatic patterns. If you have the hardware and knowledge of how to calibrate the output, and would like to collaborate, please let me know. All my collaborators get publication credit. Thanks!

I've just been listening to the Tapping World Summit, where you appeared a couple days ago,

Have also been following your work for some time. Just clarify for others, "the effects of certain cymatic patterns" is referring to fixed combinations of audio frequencies, usually 2 to 5 sine wave audio tones that are output through headphones or a hand held speaker that is applied to the body. So it sounds like you are looking for certain patterns of EEG produced by those sound frequencies.
One of our members here Isa @brain, has done some EEG work with binaural beats. And has another EEG forum with related discussions,

You might also check out the TTLab, Transformative Technology Lab at Sofia University in Palo Alto. They have EEG folks on staff,

And of course IONS in Petaluma, who I think you've worked with in the past. Arnaud Delorme is the author of EEGLAB and many research papers.
Best regards,
