New on the forum / neurofeedback?
Hey,
I was following the forum for quite some time, and I must say that I probably know 0 about most of the discussions here. I am interested in neurofeeback and how to balance my over active brain. I have completed 20 days of neurofeedback training using LORETA, and I was diagnosed with TBI. The sessions were expensive, but I did get some results, both seen on the brain map and in life.
I am eager to practice neurofeedback on a daily basis to treat the symptoms I have, and have a more balanced peaceful brain. I was reading in the forum to find an answer to my questions, but I have encountered really advance discussion. My questions are : Is Openbci hardware and software at stage where a newbee can implement protocols to help treat his symptoms ? If it is, is there anyone that can help me getting familiarised with the software and how to implement the best protocols for my case ? (With payment of course).
All the best.

I don't mind diving into the technical realm of OBCI, and buying a unit if I can actually progress with my treatment without doing any damage. Before doing so, do you believe that OBCI is in that stage where an unxprience user can create good protocols for his/her symptoms ? Will I need 1 on 1 sessiosn in order to set up the protocols on any given software ?
Thanks in advance.
To do home training you really need to do periodic assessments / brain maps. Otherwise you are flying blind. It was hoped that Ganglion would be supported for Bioexplorer and the Brain-Trainer protocols. But that seems to have taken the back burner at the moment. May pick up next year. For now, Pocket-Neurobics gear is reasonable.
