Daisy Channels 9-16 data low uV, ch 1-8 ok

edited October 2016 in Cyton
Hi, i'm running with the Daisy 16 channel and seeing a very clear difference in power between channels 1-8 and 9-16 in the Processing GUI.

Not sure if it's an artifact produced by the Processing sketch, or by the hardware, or something, else?  I'm pretty sure it's not from the first 8 electrodes being placed differently, since electrodes from base board and Daisy are randomly distributed.

FYI, I do have a Y-connector connecting the 2 SRB pins (and just one regular jumper wire on the BIAS on the base board only).

Anybody here have any guess what might be going on here?
Thank you

Have you double checked your Y cable with a DVM to ensure you have a zero ohms continuity on all 3 leads? You should be using SRB2 (closest to board) on both pins.

  • Thanks! I had it on the top pin! Works nice and even now!! Thank you for your excellent work on the daisy connection wjcroft. Someday soon I hope to follow your lead in getting the USB connection and higher frequency as per your github project. This alternating 8 channel packet thing has been tricky to work with
