NeuroPro / Imec headset, tensions a mesh of thin plastic strips
Today I ran across this adjustable headset that is based on a framework that tensions plastic strips around the head. Dry / Active sensors (from Imec) are then placed around the mesh at locations appropriate for that client / patient. Sensors probably slide / lock onto the strips. Obviously an expensive and medically oriented system, but the mesh / net idea has potential.

There is a video on this page that shows a headset not as complex as the photo, but similar. Fast forward the video to the 9:00 minute mark to see the headset. The preceding video footage describes their epilepsy detection algorithms, based on pattern recognition and cloud based analysis. The idea is that the client will wear this during much of the day and be warned of impending seizures.
Headset in video looks more comfortable than this photo, with only a few sensors attached, might be enough if positioned over the problem areas known for this client. And... wearing any headset based on elastic or continuous pressure / tensioning -- my hunch is that after an hour or two you would want a break. :-)

Ran across the headset "wearable" on a slickly done website database which lists over 250 commercial "Quantified Self" type devices. Produced by a consulting firm for businesses wiring up their employees and customers. (I hope in a friendly way.)
