GUI Init Timeout message
Hi!
My name is Fernando and recently the makerspace got an OpenBCI Chipkit 32bits board.
I've been trying to test a few applications using mainly OpenVibe.
Today, (the 3rd time I plugged OBCI in to my PC) I'm having a awkward issue.
Everytime I try to connect the board to the GUI it give a msg:
'Init Timeout Verify your Serial/COM Port Power UP/DOWN your OpenBCI & USB Dongle Then retry initialization'
'Init Timeout Verify your Serial/COM Port Power UP/DOWN your OpenBCI & USB Dongle Then retry initialization'
But when I switch from GPIO6 to RST the connection works but the signals and GUI behaves a little bit strange.
I'm running on a Lenovo notebook, Win 8 and 4gb RAM, with CPU Intel i5 5th Gen.
I'm really scared, since I did nothing outside normal with the board, just connected the board a few times and opened the Gui.
What could possibly happening with my setup? Is this software related? From my PC? I have a Linux installation aswell, and the board is having the same behavior in there.
Tomorrow I will test on another computer and will test another board.
Thank you for your attention and please, help me on that one!
Best regards,
Fernando
