Understanding all the products and their relationships to each other

I totally understand that OpenBCI is a hot-off-the-press, just recently-funded startup and that it is a project that is still bootstrapping itself.  However, as an (excited!) outsider looking in, the breakdown and dependency graph of all the products available on the online storefront is a bit confusing, and I was hoping someone could explain some things to me!
  • It looks like Mark IV is the next-gen headset, but that it is just a 10-10 headset with electrodes, and nothing more. Meaning, its basically a flashy-looking form factor that fits on your head like a helmet and places the electrodes at their proper positions. Can someone please confirm/clarify this understanding?
  • I don't understand the difference between: (a) the 32-bit mainboard, (b) the "Daisy Module" and (c) the Ganglion 4 which is coming out soon. Can someone explain to me what each of these is and what it does?

    Headsets are useful as a way to rapidly put on the electrodes without paste or gel. There are other ways to setup do-it-yourself headsets. See the thread in Electrodes,

    The V3 32 bit mainboard is 8 channels. It is expandable with the daisy to 16 channels (8 on the daisy).

    The Ganglion is a new low cost mainboard with 4 channels, and usable with Bluetooth Low Energy connections to laptops and mobiles. May be expandable with more channels, that is yet to be determined.

    Both the V3 mainboard and the Ganglion can interface to the upcoming tDCS shield. And all the boards can be connected with wet or dry electrodes.
