    This is very interesting and I am curious how they will work together.  So I downloaded and installed D2xx driver for Windows and then installed the NeuroServer (0.7.4 windows binary) and then ran the modeegdriver and received the following error:

    Recieved error code 10061 from placeCode 0.  errstr is WSAECONNREFUSED and descPlace is connect

    Am I following you guys correctly?

    NeuroServer is not recommended and is somewhat obsolete / unmaintained; instead see this thread,

    OpenEEG emulation will never be a viable solution; see this post. There is currently no emulation code for OpenEEG in the OpenBCI firmware.
