    Hi @wjcroft,

    Thanks for the response. If the issue is excessive current draw then couldn't this be fixed by just using a better battery like a LiPO or LiFePo4, which - as I understand it - can deliver far more current? Either that or a suitably clean DC from a high-end mains adapter? I'm surprised there's not been more experimentation with possible solutions given the popularity of these units.

    Unfortunately 4 channels isn't enough for me. I'm looking at 8 to 16 and was hoping to use a cyton with wifi. I suppose I'll have to wait for the new version whenever that arrives.

    No, the issue is bugs in the firmwares that in turn cause packet loss. The power supply dip is only a reflection of the deeper issue. I'm unclear if anyone had a workaround setup regardless of the attempts at voltage stabilization.
