Ultracortex signals keep saying 'railed' [resolved]
I have had this issue for a few months now, and after I put the headset on, the signals say that they are railed. I did the recommended things to fix this (check connections, make the electrode tight on the head, etc.), but none seem to work. When I put on the ear clips, the signals seem to worsen, and all become railed. When I don't use the ear clips, at least some go into and out of being railed.
How do I fix this issue?

Hi, yes I went through the previous posts and tried everything I can find (checking connections, tightness on head, ear clips, and the electrode tips are relatively new). I did switch my electrodes to the Dry EEG Comb, is this an issue?

If the headset worked correctly for a period of time, then started railing consistently -- I would suspect possible worn electrodes. Since you have the new combs, was there any correlation with the railing and the new combs? The tips do wear faster than the old 'spikey' combs.
The 'dry' electrodes and ear clips all use silver chloride electrodes. These are plastic base material, plated with silver, then chlorided. If part of the electrode looks dull grey, and other parts lighter or non-grey, this is a sign the chloride has worn off.
Hi thank you for the help. It turned out to just be an issue with the gain value - that slipped me.
