fitting the LiPo battery into the Cyton case / too difficult

Maybe its just me? But assembling the rechargeable battery into the case supplied with the Cyton seems to be very much a juggling act.

The angle of the battery plug to the battery requires either bending or twisting the short wire awkwardly. It points towards the signal pins, and the wires coming off really want to pinch in the case closure. The battery doesn't want to stay still while trying to close the case, easily getting mashed by the "rail" of plastic that is meant to hold it in place. The case pops open unexpectedly even when you have everything carefully packed inside.

Not looking forward to having to disassemble this for every recharge, then reassemble. The 4x AA battery holder is too heavy to put on a headband, but it allows the batteries to be removed/recharged without having to take apart the works.

Any alternative solutions for this? Other batteries/other configurations?

Thanks
