Daisy not detected

Hi,

We are having two sets of cyton daisy. Out of which on one of the cyton, we are unable to detect both daisy boards, whereas the daisy boards are getting detected on another Cyton we have.

Daisy was getting detected earlier.

We have used Cyton SDK command C. Same behavior is found while using OpenBCI GUI.

@wjcroft Kindly help in regards to this.

    Pluto, hi.

It's possible one of the pin contacts between the mainboard and Daisy (particularly the SPI bus pins) are for some reason not solid. Although in that case you would expect intermittent operation, not complete failure.

The other strong possibility is that the ADS1299 chip on the Daisy has become non functional. You should email contact at openbci.com and ask how to proceed.

Be aware that in some environments, static discharge can cause chip failure. So it is always advisable to handle boards by the edges only. See this statement:

Thanks for your reply William (@wjcroft),

Regarding the pin contacts between cyton and daisy, there is no loose connection found.

I doubt ADS1299 chip on daisy to be non-functional, as it is working with other Cyton board we have.

Could you think of any other possibilities that could cause this issue?

And how do we resolve daisy not getting detected?

    Regards,
    Pluto
