Delay between the actual and observed signals
Hi,
I am running Cyton on Win 11. Using OpenBCI GUI v5.0.9, I detected a consistent ~500 ms delay between the actual and digitized signals. I have recorded a video and demonstrated this delay by doing a little test, where I touched the pins several times. Notice that the data are nonsense. Here is the share link of this video: https://we.tl/t-bsN9RQ4Rdv
It is not just a delay in signal display. That is, I sent an LSL stream from the OpenBCI GUI, and sent another one from a stimulus presentation software, where pressing the spacebar sends off a string marker immediately. So every time I touch the device and press the spacebar at the same time, a ~500 ms delay can be seen between the string marker and the onset of the signal deflection. This is plotted by using ReceiveAndPlot.py. Also, I have checked there was no delay between the signal displayed in the OpenBCI GUI and the streamed LSL signal. Things are captured in this second video: https://we.tl/t-EzV7KgJ35W
Please advise what causes the signal delay.
Best,
Michael

That was a simple fix. Thanks!
