Cyton board is not working.

Hi, I'm struggled with not working cyton board. After I modified firmware and finished uploading, the blue LED was gone and didn't work. So I tried to connect 5V power at the VDD and GND beside D12 breakout pins, the LED light is on. But cannot get any signal from the cyton board. I don't know what's problem.

    Did this Cyton ever work correctly? When purchased? Why were you changing the firmware? Battery connection should only be supplied at the connector on the rear. As there are voltage regulators that condition the power after that point.

    Internally the Cyton uses 3.3V logic. And this is the normal value of Vdd, produced by the internal regulator. If you pumped in 5V there, you may well have fried your board. Customer inflicted damage is not covered by warranty.

    If a firmware upload fails, you should always try reloading the original Cyton unmodified firmware.
