Hi , I have just setup ultracortexIV with cyton and EEG readings (6 spikeys, 2 ffat). Can I use the 2 spare spikey electrodes and where would they go (on headset and cyton)?
Second question is can I use EMG and ECG with this EEG setup at same time? Have found tutorial using daisy+cyton, but not just with cyton - so am unsure which inputs to use.

    You only have 8 total channels. The spares exist in case the originals become worn.

    Yes the tutorial you mention is equally applicable to both Cyton alone and Cyton + Daisy. I'm not clear why the Daisy was included in the document, since only a few channels are utilized. Daisy is not needed for multi-modal.
