  • Hello everybody,
I bought a 8 channel Cyton board a few year ago and it worked well for my project at that time. I would like to use it again now, but in the GUI, it does not start recording after I click "start session". Do I need to update the firmware or anything else? Thank you!

Hi @wenyan, I split your question into a new thread, since it was not relevant to the thread you posted on.

When was your Cyton purchased? Are you using a new GUI version? Do you still have the old GUI you can try it with? Have you tried the troubleshooting directions listed on this step:

  • Thank you very much! I noticed the problem when I posted it, but I don't know how to initiate a new thread. Thank you very much!
My Cyton was purchased in 2017. I am using the new GUI. I can try to find the old GUI. I have checked the trouble shooting directions. The COM port is correct.

Did you try the Troubleshooting suggestions, including AUTOSCAN?

Other Radio Channel settings are in this drop down section,

  • It works after auto-connect. Thank you very much!
