Problems on using ThinkPulse™ Active Electrode Kit with my DIYed Cyton board
During my diy of the Cyton board I didn't realize the importance of the pin AVDD and AVSS and those were hidden in the PCB to reduce size.


And after the tolerance of often getting railed signal and never get all 8 channel online the ThinkPulse™ Active Electrode just came out and fits my needs. However without AVDD and AVSS I don't know if there is any way to use extra power supply for the active electrode, if the voltage are constants? Also, the starter kit is out of stock, where or when can I buy them? Any answer would be appreciated.

If your original DIY board (without Thinkpulse), was having frequent problems with railing / not receiving 8 channels -- then I would hope that you could resolve that. Otherwise adding in another 'unknown' to the equation, is going to make debugging even harder.

re: hidden pins. Hmm, you should still have those AVDD AVSS signals available at some point on your board, as for example, output pins at the voltage regulator chips. Perhaps you could very carefully lash something up, soldering into those pad points. Obviously using some strain-relief technique to avoid pulling on the components.
An external power supply or battery might work as well, but I don't know the details of the internal schematic of the active electrode. It's also possible you could void any warranty by wiring incorrectly.
