OpenBCI impact on society
Hi everyone!
As part of my studies in Neuroengineering, I am currently investigating the societal impact of OpenBCI. It would be great if any of you could take some few minutes to answer the following questions:
- What would you like to accomplish through the OpenBCI platform (research, hacking, etc.) ?
- What is your vision for OpenBCI in the future?

Hi William, thank you for the hint! Apart from the use of OpenBCI tools for more open research, I am also interested in knowing about other use cases for OpenBCI (like DIY BCI-projects as a hobby).
In this regard I would also be interested to know how users from the community envision the use of OpenBCI in the future and how open-source enables this vision. Would be great to hear your opinion on this matter.

The MindAffect project is one of most outstanding open source offerings I am aware of. It allows those without use of their hands to type on a virtual keyboard, just by focusing their intention on each letter key.

They specifically targeted OpenBCI boards, because of their wide availability and open source.
