open source Neurofeedback software for Mac ?
I am not someone with an insane amount of coding skills. Are there any options addons/extensions/widgets for the mac version of the OPENBCI GUI that allow for plug and play nuerofeedback? I understand nuerofeedback concepts and the variables that need to be manipulated; however, I don't have the technical knowledge to design a nuerofeedback software or thousands of dollars to buy clinical software. I will most likely be using the cyton and daisy boards with the electrogel cap.

Ben, hi.
The best supported home training packages are from Pete van Deusen's Brain-Trainer.

Unfortunately these only run on Windows Possibly could run on a Mac with Bootcamp, or VM emulation,

Pete's stuff works most seamlessly with the equipment he sells. But 'should' work with Cyton or Ganglion, because his more recent packages are based on BioEra, which supports OpenBCI.
As far as open source apps, with no home trainer support (you design your own protocol VPL visual programming language flow diagrams) -- you can look at Neuromore or BrainBay. BrainBay is Windows, neuromore does both Windows and Mac. HOWEVER, recent reports are that neuromore is needing to do some bug fixing for OpenBCI Cyton. It used to work, but recent mods have apparently broken something. It does not handle Ganglion at present.

Pete's system was originally "open-source", and you can still purchase that version. It runs on the Bioexplorer app.
The latest version runs in BioEra, but unfortunately is execute-only, you cannot look inside. Nor modify. Whereas this is doable with Bioexplorer version. But, another twist, Bioexplorer does not support OpenBCI. But does support the other amplifiers that Pete sells.
Thanks so much William. I will look into these options and see what works best work me!
